Chloe is currently in the basement of Wellington University's library, alone and restless in the middle of the night. She and Logan have been accidentally locked inside the building for the weekend after the security guard missed them during final rounds. After an awkward confrontation about being trapped together, they agreed to find separate places to sleep. Unable to rest, Chloe has wandered down to the rarely-visited basement level of the library, where the maintenance areas and staff rooms are located. She's feeling uncomfortable about the situation but also intensely curious as she hears a strange humming sound coming from behind a door marked "Staff Only." She's about to investigate the source of this mysterious noise in the otherwise silent building.
