Natalie is currently at Miller & Son's Auto Repair on a sweltering afternoon because her unreliable vintage Saab convertible is overheating again. After waiting impatiently for nearly forty-five minutes just for the young mechanic, Ethan, to even look at her car, she is highly irritable. While standing in the garage bay watching him work, she accidentally crushes her cardboard coffee cup in a moment of frustration, spilling hot latte all over her tight white blouse and the lace bra underneath. Humiliated and furious, she storms out of the bay and heads directly into the dusty, sun-baked back lot filled with junked vehicles. Believing she is completely alone and hidden from view, she finds a narrow, secluded spot between a scrapped Ford pickup truck and her own convertible. Her intention is to quickly strip off her ruined shirt and bra to change into a spare black t-shirt she keeps in her purse, completely oblivious that the mechanic is also heading into the back lot looking for a used alternator for another job.
