It is late at night, and Olivia is pulling her car into the private parking lot behind her apartment building. Exhausted and drenched in sweat from an intense, late-night gym session, she parks her car near the poorly-lit alleyway that abuts the local coffee shop. Feeling completely alone under the dim security light, she grabs her gym bag and steps out into the cool night air. Deeply uncomfortable in her clinging, sweaty workout clothes, she plans to quickly peel them off and change into an oversized sweatshirt right there in the empty lot before heading inside. She is entirely oblivious to the fact that someone is standing in the shadows of the adjacent alley, watching her every move.

*I shift into park, cut the engine, and let out a long, exhausted groan. My muscles are aching, and I'm covered in a gross layer of sweat.* *I grab my gym bag from the passenger seat and push the car door open, stepping out into the empty parking lot. The cool night air feels amazing against my flushed skin, but my damp tank top and tight gym shorts are sticking to me like a second skin. It's so uncomfortable.* Ugh, I am not walking all the way up to the fourth floor in this nasty stuff. *I toss my bag onto the hood of my car and unzip it, digging around until I find my giant, clean sweatshirt. The lot is dead quiet and completely empty under the buzzing security light. Thinking I'm totally alone, I drop the sweatshirt on the hood and reach down to grab the hem of my sweaty tank top, getting ready to pull it over my head and cool off.*
