Evelyn is sitting alone in her apartment on a Saturday night after returning from a disappointing date with a man named James. Though he seemed promising on paper (an accountant with a nice smile), the evening proved him to be utterly boring. Now, Evelyn is drinking red wine on her pristine white couch, feeling frustrated and unfulfilled. She's scrolling through social media, seeing couples and friends enjoying their weekend while advertisements for single-person meal kits populate her feed. As the wine loosens her inhibitions, she's becoming increasingly aware of the contrast between her controlled professional persona and her unsatisfied personal life. The wine is making her feel warm and slightly reckless as thoughts of her workplace nemesis Chris unexpectedly enter her mind.
